Which Are The Best Days To Book The Luau?
Book your luau for the first few days of your trip to give you the most flexibility in the event you need to change your activity plans. Locals say Saturdays and Mondays typically have the most availability and you’ll likely get better seats to experience the show up close and personal.
I Am Driving To The Myths Of Maui Luau. What Is Parking Like?
There is plenty of parking available at the Royal Lahaina Resort to accommodate luau guests. Please remember that parking is $10 per car.
What Is The Best Way To Dress For A Night At The Luau?
The luau is outdoors in a casual, family-oriented environment. We suggest you dress comfortably, wear closed toe walking shoes and check the local weather report as conditions may change quickly on Maui. Please, no bare feet.
- During the summer months, wear light clothing but be aware the temperature may drop considerably after the sun goes down. Bring sunscreen, a light sweater, hat and sunglasses.
- During the winter months we suggest long pants and long-sleeved shirts. You’ll likely be more comfortable with a sweater or light jacket as well.
Do You Accommodate Special Dietary Requests Or May I Bring My Own Food Or Drinks?
The Myths of Maui features a variety of great food choices from our buffet for almost every taste—including a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the luau grounds including bottled water and personal beverage containers.
What Types Of Identification Are Required To Enjoy Alcoholic Beverages?
All guests who wish to consume an alcoholic beverage at the Myths of Maui Luau must be at least 21 years of age and present one of the following forms of identification:
- Valid driver’s license or State ID card that includes your date of birth and photo
- Active Military ID that includes your date of birth and photo
- Valid passport
Please note that temporary driver’s licenses, temporary ID cards and photocopies of passports, driver’s licenses or ID cards are not acceptable.
Can We Upgrade To VIP At The Luau Entry?
VIP tickets are available at the luau entry on a space available basis. However, the VIP section typically sells out so we highly suggest purchasing them in advance.
I Lost My Confirmation/Voucher. Will I Be Still Able To Attend Without It?
Yes. Simply present a confirmation email or identification matching the name on the reservation and we’ll assist with locating your booking.
May I Choose My Seats For The Show?
Seating is pre-assigned based upon the time of booking. Please book early to ensure you receive the best available seats. For the best seats in the house, consider booking our VIP package as those seats are in our front section.
May I Use A Stroller At The Myths Of Maui Luau?
Yes, strollers are permitted. Please be mindful of the following guidelines:
- Do not leave personal belongings in an unattended stroller
- Designated areas will be assigned for stroller parking
- Strollers may be moved by luau cast or crew due to operational needs
- Strollers larger than 36″ x 52″ and wagons are not permitted
